Vetralis provides cellular monitoring for HVAC and refrigeration equipment. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers the Vetralis mobile and web apps and the Vetralis API. Vetralis is offered in the United States only.

Photos are collected only when you take or choose one — the app asks for camera or photo-library permission at that moment, and you can decline and still use everything else. We do not collect your device's location (a service address is one you type in, which we then geocode), your contacts, or microphone data. We do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Most of what Vetralis reports is computed by our own software from sensor readings. Two features send data to an AI provider on our behalf:
We do not send your name, email address, cellphone number, or street address for either one, and the results come back to you and to any service company you have linked. No decision with a legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means.
We share the minimum necessary with providers who process data on our behalf:
SMS alerts are opt-in and can be turned off at any time in the app under Notifications, or by replying STOP to any message. Message and data rates may apply.
We keep account and equipment data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and its associated personal data at any time from the Account screen in the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your profile, your contact details, your notification preferences, your access to every unit, and any company you alone administer.
The equipment record itself — the monitor, its readings, the equipment details and any photos of the equipment — belongs to the monitored system rather than to you, and may be retained after your account is gone. Once your account is deleted it is no longer linked to you. We also keep records we are required to keep by law. If you want the photos you uploaded removed as well, ask us before you delete the account and we will remove them.
Traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS. Login codes are hashed at rest, expire after ten minutes, and lock out after repeated failed attempts. Access to production systems is restricted.
Vetralis is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
You may access and correct your information in the app, opt out of SMS, unlink a service company, or delete your account entirely, at any time and without contacting us. We do not sell or share personal information, we do not use it for targeted advertising, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right. If you are a California resident, these are your rights to know, correct and delete under the CCPA. To make a privacy request, contact us at the address below.
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
